From Travel Story to Restocked: Worthy Skin Care is Stocked and Ready

I always take a bottle of Love Potion Nº 5 with me when I travel. While staying in Colorado, a cleaner entered my hotel room just as I was adding some of the potion to the back of my hand. She jokingly held out her hand for some.

We laughed together as I gave her two drops—my typical dose—on the back of her left hand.

I told her in Spanish that this would help her feel more love. She joked that she needed more than a few drops.

I nodded, then explained in Spanish that the potion was very strong, and two drops would be enough.

The next day I returned to my hotel room midday to grab my water bottle, and the cleaner found me. She said something in rapid Spanish.

I shrugged, slowly. My Spanish is rudimentary.

She took out her phone and spoke into a translation program.

I read her words translated into English: "When I returned home yesterday, my angry teen son greeted me with a smile and a funny story about his day. I listened to him, then went to my kitchen to cry with relief."

She asked the love potion might have helped.

I shrugged and nodded.

She held up two fingers and asked if she might try a few more drops; I happily gave us each a dose.

The following day was my last day at the resort. She found me as I finished packing and said that her son brought her a small gift, like he did when he was a child. It was a pretty rock he found outside.

I gifted her with the rest of the bottle. She hugged me again and again.

There is no proof that the potions work or that they will bring about a change in yourself or those around you. But… maybe they will.
