Wild Again: A Personal Story and Summer Break Notice

During a visit to a specialist in May, the doctor insisted that I go on estrogen therapy.
I told him that my hormones were tested last December, and they were spot-on-normal.
He insisted.
I explained that I use a natural remedy – that I formulated and made myself after two years of research on traditional hormone replacement ingredients—and that I’ve never felt better.
(Traditional = NOT laboratory tested. I'd spent years collecting anecdotal evidence from many thousands of women who insisted these all-natural ingredients worked for menstruation, perimenopause, menopause and post menopause over lab results for hormone relief. Why did I want traditional results? Because there haven't been enough clinical tests for women's hormone relief.)
The doctor flared his nostrils and said that estrogen therapy would likely heal my medical issues that have turned into a full body – whole system autoimmune disorder.
I caved. Why? Maybe estrogen was the magic bullet. When healing is the carrot, how could I refuse?
Without testing my hormone levels, I started a patch. The following week while the second patch seeped estrogen into my body, I suffered a boatload of side-effects. From overly depressed, to manic, to impulsive to bitchy.
I didn’t notice that I’d gone missing until I looked at my bank account—and a four-page rage letter I wrote to my school superintendent in answer to the question “What are your plans for next year?”
A friend, who has also had great results from the Wild Yam Oil from my gem-of-a-business, Worthy Skin Care, insisted that I hold off on sending that email until she visited the next morning. She told me to remove the patch right away and listened on the phone for the sound of the estrogen patch ripping off my stomach and falling into the trash.
Good News #1: She helped me rewrite the letter so it was more informative and less angry.
Good news #2: Now that I’ve gone off the estrogen, gave my body a rest and restarted the Wild Yam Oil, my smile has resumed.
I’ve decided to rename Wild Yam Oil. I love this name of the top organic ingredient in it. But now I’m going to call it Wild. Because it is a gift to live with a wild heart. Having hormones regulated makes all the difference.
I’m heading out of town for a few weeks to attend a Joe Dispenza meditation / pain reduction workshop in Aurora, Colorado… So Worthy Skin Care will be on a SUMMER BREAK.
